Cutting Away

Well I cut this quilt back in 2004 to put together. It was 2 colors with dark blue print and light blue plain. I cannot for the life of me remember what the pattern was, so I decided to wash it because it was stuck in my damp basement. I bought one of those net bags that you would wash pantie hose in because these were 2 in half square triangles and blocks and 4 inch blocks in the dark blue. Do not ever ever ever wash cut fabric at least not 2 in cut fabric hahahahahaha!! I think I lost half the triangle to lint balls. however I decided to cut the light into 2.5 squares and sew the triangles to it. It is working out pretty good but I have to put it away to get my granddaughter's quilt going. I have to do 3 quilts by Christmas so I have to get going on hers.
